The body needs purifying processes to eliminate toxins that keep accumulating though the year, not only through our diets but also due to stress, bad habits, medication… the accumulation of toxic substances in the body can cause, over time, illnesses, a weak immune system and a state of fluctuating mood.
Our detox retreats consists of 3 different programs of 3 or 6 days. One is of relaxation and detoxification with alkaline food, rest and relaxation; the other in addition to the interior includes yoga and energetic detox, and a third also includes nutrition, conscious diet and therapeutic cooking. Besides, you can enjoy more activities.
This retreat will help you know how to detoxify your body through diet and movement.

Detox 3 or 6 days (with or without Yoga) includes:

Diet:
The diet is based on fresh juices and raw food. This is a less aggressive way of enjoying the process of purification, especially of the liver and gallbladder.
There are many foods and herbs that help the body to eliminate toxins in a safe way, once we feed ourselves well with good fruits and vegetables.
- Arrival on Friday afternoon after 16:00 and departure on Sunday at 12:00
- In the case of the 5-day retreat, arrival is on Sunday and departure on Friday (at the same time of 12:00)
- Full board with green smoothies using organic fruits and vegetables and with organics food
- Various juices and liquids of low glycaemic index
- Guided trekking tours or visits to tourist attractions of the natural park of Sierra Alhama Tejeda and Almijara
Activities: Body and mind: *Yoga and excursion:
The Yoga class* and excursion are designed to help the body and mind free toxic elements, impurities and waste, as well as to enhance relaxation and channel the detoxification process. It does not matter if you have not practised Yoga before.

Recommendations: we recommend that a few days prior to arrival at the retreat, reduce or eliminate from your diet some foods so that the body can adapt more easily. It is not absolutely necessary but is very useful. These foods include:

In the case of requesting a shared room without a bathroom and this already being booked and so unavailable, Eco Oasis will provide you with another superior accommodation if vacant, respecting the price that you would have paid for the room you originally requested.
* There will always be herbal teas and fruits available for the participants.
* During the free times there will be the option to have a massage (not included in the price)
* These 3-day and 6-day retreats serve as a prelude to a water fast. Whoever reserves his or her place during the detox retreat will receive advice and a personalised diet in order to prepare the body for water fasting.
* We run the retreats with attendance from 1 person. Special prices exist for groups (please ask us) with a minimum of 4 people and maximum of 10 people.
You can also request a Detox any other day of the week, to personalise and extend your treatment in consultation with the therapist.
The House
Casa Almendro is a comfortable rural house located in the region of La Axarquía, in the municipality of Cómpeta, located at the foot of the natural park of Sierra de Alhama Tejera and Almijara.

The Area
Green, green, green! The whole property is located in nature. Due to its privileged location it has an extraordinary view over the sea and over the Sierra Tejeda Alhama and Almijara Natural Park.
The house is located about 3 km from the locality of Cómpeta (municipality to which it belongs). It is a privileged place due to its geographical location.
